a few words from the client:
"Before getting married, I lived in Kazakhstan for a few years, and I wanted to incorporate some Kazakh elements into my wedding. I decided to use a "Silk Road" theme, and I wanted a motif and monogram that would fit in with this theme. I decided to use a motif that is known throughout Central Asia. In Kazakh, it is called a shangyraq. It is a symbolic representation of the top of a Central Asian nomadic yurt. This is a great symbol for a wedding because new couples traditionally received their own yurt when they got married. The symbol is used in Central Asia to represent home and family (as well as the nation). My monogram incorporates the motif with our names and wedding date. I'm using the motif and monogram on our stationery, our cocktail napkins, and our water bottles.

Kristin Sanchez did a wonderful job designing my motif and monogram. I explained what I wanted it to look like, and she did an excellent job of fulfilling my request. She prepared several different options so I could decide which option worked best for me. Her service was wonderful. She responded quickly to all of my emails, and even set up a special web link for my monogram and motif. I highly recommend Kristin Sanchez's monogram design service!"

a few words from the client:
"I wanted to include the Zia symbol first because to me, it really signifies where I come from. The Zia symbolizes the circle of life on earth. The sacred number being the number four. In earth: north, south, east, west (four directions). In year: spring, summer, fall, winter (four seasons). In day: morning, noon, evening, night (four times) In life: childhood, youth, adulthood, old age (four stages). And the four sacred obligations: strong body, clear mind, pure spirit, devotion to people's welfare. When New Mexico became a State, in 1912, the Zia was adopted as the symbol for the State Flag.

Kristin was wonderful to work with. I had a vision of what I wanted in mind and she quickly and easily made it come to life!"
